TNT (de aloude PTT) is ook niet meer wat het geweest is .. zelfs
een lullig pakketje is al een week onderweg tegenwoordig. Ok,

[NL] De Brandgrens
Net als vorig
jaar wordt vandaag wederom de
brandgrens van het bombardement op Rotterdam (14 mei 1940)
uitgelicht door middel van her en der geplaatste schijnwerpers
die het wolkendek boven de stad verlichten. Vanmorgen stond
een reusachtige truck de schijnwerpers in mijn straat uit te
laden. Een Duitse truck met een kenteken uit Berlijn. Een
tikje wrang blijft dat wel.
P.S.: hier zijn de foto's van editie 2008, die door het heldere weer heel anders ogen dan de bewolkte versie van 2007.

Ah yes, one has to visit Paris from time to time, so I've
decided to take Sara there for almost a week. Found a freaky
funny little apartment in the middle of the heart of the centre of
Paris.

Why the hell have I never heard of The
Raveonettes from Denmark? Saw them on Letterman's Late Show, and was blown
away. The same goes for everything else I've found of them on YouTube. Great stuff!

[EN] About Face Again
After having worn my Ørgreen Optics frame
for almost exactly 2.5 years (it never really fit, I was always fidgeting with it), I just picked up my new glasses, this time made by the interesting Chinese fashion label Shanghai Tang (Wikipedia).
I tried on quite a few frames from various brands, but I came back to this one every time. The only thing I did not really like about it were the bright green pieces of artwork on the sides.
My optician did a fine job removing the green colouring, but leaving the artwork fully intact (just black). Very well done!
Oh, and the frame came with some funny gear:
